We have found her!! Our new home! Her name is Wa Kainga (WaKa for short) It means home in Maori, New Zealand's native language, and we absolutely love her!

We had a very romantic valentines day... it involved cleaning our new home, lots of laundry, and organizing her! We bought her from a very sweet German girl who built WaKa herself! She was very helpful in the entire process!

It is crazy to think about all of the different people we have met already on this journey! We have met people from Chili, Germany, Canada, India, Thailand, Australia, Russia, and a few Kiwi natives as well! If I ever met this many different people in our small town of Albany, I would think I was dreaming. It is very fun to hear about their adventures, reasons for traveling, and life back home!

Communication has been interesting because we all have strong accents and different English phrases. We are doing our best to re-explain and understand as much as we can. This made camper-van shopping difficult because often we only understood about half of what the seller was telling us. Gradually we figured it out though and only after a couple days we found WaKa!

We are slowly adjusting to driving on the left side of the road. Dan drove for the first time yesterday and did very well. It just does not feel natural and makes me question many things that normally are second nature. Such as how to cross the street, eat my food, or even read street signs. Sometimes I question, if I open a book will I have to read it right to left?

Our entire Valentines day was not about work though... Dan took the time to cook us a delicious chicken alfredo dinner and we even spoiled ourselves with some New Zealand wine. We have accomplished a lot of the necessary paperwork and business things we need to do here in Auckland. Both of us are looking forward to leaving the big city and getting into the countryside. There is a lot of beauty in this country and we both are feeling a little claustrophobic being stuck in the concrete jungle.
